When we first designed Dream-time Wholesale Nursery at Heath Hill, we believed it would be Australia’s most water efficient wholesale nursery operation.

In the early part of last year it quickly became apparent that we had become totally self sufficient. The design for the nursery catchment and runoff management system far exceeded our expectations, so much so, that we built another water storage facility bringing our total water holding capacity in excess of 50 megalitres of pure clean water.
So successful was this operation that dream-time was a finalist in the 2003 savewater awards

Constantly striving to improve, the next process was to provide plants that were disease and pathogen free. After months of researching and testing the many products, equipment and systems that are available to sanitize water, only one stood out from the crowd.

The Buccaneer chlorine generator uses a unique long lasting chlorine tablet compound based on calcium hypochlorite that is economical, safe, easy to use and does not leave any toxic residues in the soil or on the plants.

Through our water management programme and water purification our plants are better adapted and prepared to suit the harsher, dry, drought like conditions we have been experiencing the past few years.
